A coreógrafa Pina BauschNatural de Solingen Pina Bausch dirigiu o Teatro de Dança de Wuppertal desde 1973. Entremente, ela e o seu elenco eram tão requisitados, que faziam numerosas tournées pelo mundo inteiro, todos os anos. Para pesar dos seus fãs na Alemanha, que gostariam de assistir mais frequentemente às suas apresentações. Tanto mais se alegravam os seus admiradores no Japão, no Brasil ou noutra parte, de poder assistir ao vivo às encenações da artista individualista.
Tão internacional como a sua agenda de apresentações era também a lista de integrantes do seu elenco. Bailarinas e bailarinos de todas as partes íam para Wuppertal, afim de participar no ballet do mais alto nível. Não é de admirar, pois a sua linguagem é constituída pelo corpo e pela música, podendo ser entendida em todo o mundo.
Como deves calcular, o nome dessa senhora não me diz nada, até porque não sou amante de bailado...
