O luto na obra de Freud
Fiquei obsecada com o processo de luto em virtude da dolorosa experiência pessoal há 3 anos com a morte da minha mãe. Li muito sobre este tema, sendo o pensamento de Sigmund Freud o mais profundo e original.
Quando Freud, com apenas 22 anos, iniciou a escrever (1888 e 1893) sobre a melancolia e as neuroses de defesa já abordou a problemática do luto. Anos mais tarde retomou este tema em Cinco Lições de Psicanálise (1909) e em Contribuições para Uma Discussão sobre o Suicídio (1910), continuando dois anos depois em Totem e Tabu. Freud aprofunda ainda mais a sua análise em Luto e Melancolia (1915). E em 1926 deixa as suas últimas reflexões sobre o tema em Ansiedade, Dor e Luto.
Excerto de uma carta enviada a Ludwig Binswanger, que havia perdido um filho:
Embora saibamos que depois de uma perda dessas o estado agudo do luto abrandará, sabemos também que continuaremos inconsoláveis e não encontra-remos nunca um substituto. Não importa o que venha preencher a lacuna e, mesmo que esta seja totalmente preenchida, ainda assim alguma coisa permanecerá. É a única maneira de perpetuar aquele amor que não desejamos abandonar.

Acho que o Freud não dizia que algo preenche a dor de perder um filho ... apenas ensina a suportá-la e a reaprender a viver

É verdade, Teresa, essa melancolia deve-se ao desejo de não abandonar, de perpetuar o ente que amámos. Por isso concordo com a Licas, o processo de interiorização da perda depende de cada pessoa, mas a lembrança nunca se apaga, no final de contas temos memória.

Sei que o meu Pai vive, noutro lugar, não sei onde, mas tenho essa certeza.
